Yeah Yeah! I know I have not added anything in some time, but I am back in the game now and I have a few things in the pipe works. I just bought some new flash's and wanted to test em out so this is the end result. Thanks to my friend Choco for modeling ; )
I come across this website the other day http://passfail.squarespace.com/ that had a thing about boarding passes, and how boring they were. I have always felt the same, you pay all this money to fly somewhere then they give you this piece of crap paper with a bunch of numbers in no particular order like sum maths equation for you to figure out. The website has some great ideas and I decided to do one of my own, attached below.
Ok so this is the piece I ended up doing for the competition, the guide lines were to do something that was inspired from the word black. This is what came out!
It was my cousins wedding over the weekend and I just picked my self up a new D90 body, so I took it along. It was magic! especially from my last Dslr (D80) I felt a lot of difference between the two. The wedding was also just as amazing as the camera, it was full of fun, dancing and with the background of a vinyard how could you go wrong. With these shots I wanted to capture the mood of the day with all the fun and happiness of everybody just enjoying to be there.
I love the Polaroid camera, it can turn even the amateur photographer into a arty pro. The fact that you can get your photo printed on the spot as soon as you take it and have it be revealed right before your very own eyes is amazing. I had a whole stack of polaroids laying around so I went through them and picked out the best ten to put up on here, if you have me on face book you can see the whole lot in my photos section. This top one of the McDonalds sign makes me happy about taking photos.
hello, I have been shit and not put anything up for the last two weeks, so I apologise. I have posted some photos from a project I did called splits. It is a pretty basic idea, but effective just take some photos, them split them up and put them back together in a random order. I have only ever done two but when I have some more time I would like to more. I was happy with the two I did and hope you are to.
I really want to get this project that I am working on up and running so I am still posting old stuff. Well old stuff to me, nobody has seen it yet so new stuff to you. The next few blogs will be of older stuff I have done just to keep the blog fresh. These are some photo's from my trip to japan.
I have been real busy lately with a project I am working on. Unfortunately all of it is shooting film, and to save money on developing I have to wait till I have about 5 rolls of film full until I can get them processed. So that means I have nothing to post. So! I have posted the first set of photos I ever put in an exhibition. I think the photos turned out beautifully an I was quite happy with the end result. I sold the one of Hanna with the mug.
